Hi, I’m Meghan

I’m a mom of two toddlers and the creator behind Third Coast Kids.

When we moved to the Traverse City area, I quickly realized how many great places there are to explore with kids. The hard part was figuring out where to actually go.

I was asking friends for recommendations, searching Facebook groups, saving Instagram posts, and trying to keep track of all the places people told me about.

So I started Third Coast Kids.

What started as a way to share our favorite playgrounds, trails, beaches, farms, and family-friendly spots has grown into a resource for families who want to get out and explore Northern Michigan without having to do all the research themselves.

I’m here to find the places worth buckling your kids into the car for 😜 and make it a little easier to figure out what to do with your kids today.

Whether you’re new to Northern Michigan, visiting for the weekend, or you’ve lived here for years, I hope Third Coast Kids helps you find your next favorite family adventure.
