Looking for a simple way to get outside with the kids? Boardman River Nature Center is one of our favorite spots for an easy outing with toddlers.
Behind the nature center, you'll find a nature-based play area with a mud kitchen, balance beams, climbing and play structures, and plenty of room for kids to explore. It's the kind of place where kids can climb, build, use their imagination, and get a little dirty.
There are also trails to explore around the property, along with educational displays inside the nature center. The indoor children's area has books and sensory bins, making this a nice option when you want a mix of outdoor and indoor activities.
